Parkville Netball Policies

  • Bylaws
    These Bylaws govern Parkville Netball. They are the operating procedures that determine the conduct of the Competitions and its members.   • Child Safety in Netball
    Parkville Netball is committed to the health and wellbeing of all of its members and others who participate in Parkville's activities. We want netball to be fun, enjoyable and safe for all involved and are dedicated to providing a safe environment for everyone. ​ We are committed to providing children and young people with positive and nurturing experiences for healthy development and wellbeing. ​ We fully support and implement Netball Victoria's Commitment to Child Safety: "Every person in the netball community has a responsibility to understand their role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people in our care. Netball Victoria is committed to promoting and protecting the rights of children and preventing abuse from occurring by fostering a culture where children feel safe and empowered. We also seek to ensure the cultural safety of First Nations children, children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds and children with a disability." ​ For more information regarding Child Safety in netball, please visit https://vic.netball.com.au/child-safety-netball Netball Victoria Announcement - Netball Respect : Green Bands Pilot Umpires are the unsung heroes of Netball, ensuring fair play and good sporting behaviour. To ensure our Netball community is respectful and supportive, especially for our younger umpires, Netball Victoria is thrilled to introduce the ‘Netball Respect: Green Bands’ for Umpires Under 18. This 8-week pilot will commence at the State Netball Centre starting 29 July, week two of the Spring Season. This will take place at Parkville Netball Competitions on Saturdays, Mondays, and Thursdays only. This pilot is part of the consultation and trial phase, Netball Victoria will be collecting insights and data.
